You can youse this website to upload/promote your properties on the internet of you are a real estate agent or you can use it to find a property if you are a house hunter. The major use of this site though is to quickly help house hunters to find a house for Rent/Sale which suits their needs and also fits within their financial strength, The site has 100s of houses from several real estate agents/companies and brokers, each Agent/Broker is ranked by stars () basing on experience or level of activity and customer satisfaction, hence a member with 5 stars is more reliable than a member with 2 stars.

Using this site will save you a lot of time moving around in your quest to identify a house for Rent/Sale as you can quickly/easily prioritize your final movements to the house of your choice basing on the information provided for each house by the respective agent or broker.

HOW TO FIND A HOUSE
There are three ways through which u can find the house you need on this website:- 
  1. You can use the "search" on the home page; by entering the specifications of the house that you need [i.e. category, district, bed rooms and  Cost range]; then click "search" to get results basing on the entries made, or;
  2. You can directly enter the house code of the house that you need so as to go directly to the details of that house, or;  
  3. You can simply choose from the Select section which has specifications that have already been set/arranged for you; so that the results you get are based on the chosen specification. 
1- Using the Search
If you choose to identify a house by searching then you need to use the following parameters:-

Category
Select the category for the house that you would like to find, this should be either Residential for Sale or Rent,

District
 Choose the district where you would like to rent the house [NB only districts that have an entry in our database will be shown in the selection box]

Bed Rooms
 Choose the number of bedrooms that you need, this may of course be based on the size of your family

Cost Range
 The cost of rent for houses on this site varies basing on location and size of the house or its interior quality, so you should therefore enter the minimum cost and also enter the maximum cost that you can afford to pay per month.

If you want to be specific about the cost of rent; for example if you want only houses whose rent is 250000shs; then you have to enter 250000 for both the minimum and maximum cost range, hence the results you will get will be only for houses whose rent is exactly 250000Usd

Using the search method is the most precise way to find the exact house you need; but that's only if it exits! NB:- "while you search/look through the different houses please write down/note the codes of the houses you are interested in; that will later make it easy for you to quickly find the same houses using their codes". 
2- Entering the house code
You may have been to this site already and hence you have noted/written the code[s] of the house[s] you need, in that case you should just enter the code [one at a time] in the "code entry box" on the home page then press the "Go" button, this will take you directly to the details of the house whose code you have entered (if its still available). if your refer any one to this website; you can just give them the codes of the houses that you want them to see hence they will not have to search through the whole website.

3- Using the Select Section
If you choose to identify a house by selecting from the select section then you can click on an item from the lists such that you get results based on the item you have clicked, the expected number of results/houses to be viewed is shown in the column labeled "Houses". All lists in the select section are arranged in alphabetical order and in groups of six, you can also re-arrange the lists by clicking on the headings for each column.

However; as opposed to the search; the selections will present results that are specific to the parameter/item chosen but all other parameters will be mixed up. for example if you choose a district from the selections then you will get a mix of "all" houses in that district regardless of:- cost, number of bedrooms, or category.

HOW TO UPLOAD/UPDATE PROPERTIES
In order to upload or update any properties on this website; you first have to become a member by filling the membership registration form [Membership is free] after which you get a username and a password, then you will be able to login with your new username and password. When logged in; you can do 6 things:-
  1. Make new entries. - i.e. easily enter new properties with their images and descriptions.
  2. Edit or Update previous entries. - make changes to the properties that you uploaded earlier.
  3. Enter your agents and their images plus contact details. - each agent will be displayed along side the properties they are assigned to.
  4. Edit agents details - Make changes to the details of each agents, change the:- Name, Telephone number, Email, etc  
  5. Edit or update your account details. - change phone numbers emails and other account information pertaining to the company.
  6. View statistical information on how house hunters are choosing or responding to your properties based on the number of times each property is clicked.
To make new entries for any property; you need to have a minimum of two images that can be uploaded along side the text data/details for each property, these images are automatically resized by the website and uploaded into the database so that they are immediately displayed, below are some of the specifications for uploading of data onto this website. 
  1. All images have to be jpeg/jpg format.
  2. The first two images are compulsory [Image1 and Image2].
  3. The description field should not be more than 180 characters
  4. The location field should not be more than 16 characters

PRINTING [house details]
 Printing a House Details Page directly from the browser is not straight forward, this is due to the fact that browsers do not print backgrounds by default unless they set to do so, the margins may also have to be set in order for the webpage to fit on an A4 sheet of paper [as shown on the right].

A quick procedure to set up your pages so that they fit on paper for printing is as follows:-

Go to "Tools" menu at the top of your browser [internet explorer] and select "internet options", on the new windows that pops-up; select the "Advanced" tab, then scroll down to the "Printing" section and select "Print back ground colors and images", then click "Ok".

Then go to the "File" menu at the top of your browser and select "Page Setup", on the new window that pops up; set the "Paper" "size" to "A4", then set the "Orientation" to "Portrait", then set all the margins to 0.2 and click "Ok". after this you will be able to make good printouts of the  House Details Page for each property on this website!
